Not exactly sure what this is but theres some stuff on a road just past a creek near mission space. Looks like scrap metal and the buses the characters ride in Epcot.

And then you got Discovery Island:

River Country

Over at Magic Kingdom I'd say you could find a few parts here in this graveyard:

Animal Kingdom's Graveyard. Looks like a rock wall structure to the left side.

And finally, right behind the RNC launch area it appears to be two TOT vehicles but im not sure.

Most of the valuable stuff would probably be in one of the sheds on the property so you might not see anything important but thats the most likely areas you would find something. Hope this helps.

During my time as a CM at Epcot I saw quite a few wrecks and other things like that.

There is one of the subs from 20k behind Soarin, there is the bus that the characters used to ride and there are multiple dead vehicles from the boat rides, test track etc.

I will try and find the 20k sub now.

I just checked bing's birds eye view maps since they're more recent, I think they might have moved the sub but there is definitely a small boat behind Soarin. Ive never rode the boat ride in the Land pavilion so I don't know where its from but with it being Epcot I wouldd say it came off that ride.

Actually a 20K sub outline is sort of near the boat but it could also be a tank of some sort.

At DAK behind the garage where they park (and service) the Kilimanjaro vehicles there were always a bunch of old parking lot trams, back lot tour trams and various other vehicles they used for spare parts.

Yep that is indeed the sub, I used to love using the golf cart from work and go exploring all the backstage areas, seeing the Illuminations globe open whilst they are loading it is quite a site when you are 15ft from it.

Trust me, those aren't Tower vehicles... The only way they'd ever leave the building would be onto a flatbed truck. They have too many electronics on-board to leave sitting out in the open.

Plus, I think the vehicles on the Foxtrot side of the building may be "landlocked" into the building. I don't see any way they could ever be removed in one piece without drastic measures being taken.

also, wrecked Tembo Truck with the front end smashed. Could not move it until the personal injury lawsuit was complete...

Anyone know if it is still there?

That was the only thing I could think of since they looked like the platform was on an incline. I've actually never ridden Tower of Terror for my own reasons. Wonder what they was though.

In that first picture the things that look like white mesh next to the scrap metal I believe are the walkways into to World Showcase for during Christmas time, the giant trellace like structures they build every year.

Also the picture from behind AK looks to me like an unused or extra section of rebar substructure for the Tree of Life.

There is a way actually. Next time use the chicken exit. You take a real elevator ( between Echo and Foxtrot) down to unload, and go over a small drawbridge with garage doors on either side. That's how they can switch sides.

You can see here (it's the pic in the last row, left side):

GFh:

That sure is the arches of the Lights of Winter for christmas at Epcot!:( It makes me sad to see them just sitting there when they added so much to the decor of the Epcot holidays! I really hope they bring them back revamped with LED's this year!

If you rotate the camera angle the boat and sub move. If I remember correctly it is the top half of a sub. We saw it on the back stage tour of the longer Segway tour at Epcot.

You might want to check out this video posted on youtube. Some guys managed to sneak into the former River Country. It's pretty creepy, the background music that used to play all over the park is still playing. You can't see much cause it was taped at dawn, but hey, the music is loud!

I only went to River Country once, but it's still sad to see how they just abandon and forget about what used to be a really fun park.

Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4JwgmPEIDQ

There is a place near Cinderella Castle near the moat. It was called Plaza Swan Boats. The loading area is still there. Even though its been closed for years.:veryconfu

A major ruin site is River Country, the very much forgotten Disney World park. It was opened sometime around 1977 and closed in 2001, though no exact reason was announced:shrug:.

Another huge ruin site was(yes, was) the Pop Century Resort,Legendary Years section. It was left unfinished and now is being turned into Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

I remember when the mirror from the castle decorations for HCOE was left laying out below the monorail tracks, it was in full view although I forget where it was exactly.

River Country

....it's the one water park that little scary me wishes she had visited....and am so sorry it's gone. I wish they would re-open it. It always looked so much more fun and less scary than the current places.
