Congrats on the upcoming trip and scoring a royal room at PORS!! My husband and I love PORS! I think it is a very romantic resort and perfect for a couple. There are horse drawn carriage tours around the grounds in the evenings and you can take the boat to DTD. Both romantic in my book! Be sure to take some time to walk around the resort as the landscaping and fountains are gorgeous.
Yee Haw Bob plays the piano at the River Roost Lounge which is the in the main building. I have never heard him play, but have heard he does a sing-a-long type repertoire. Not really my cup of tea, but to each his own. He has quite a following.
Boatwright's is the table service option at PORS. We had breakfast there on our first trip, which they no longer offer. I have heard some decent reviews from folks who have eaten there recently, but in my opinion, there are too many other great restaurants out there waiting for me to sample!
The food court at PORS is very tasty and has a large variety. The make your own pasta station is very good and is a very large portion which you can easily share.
