Although EPCOT is my favorite park Magic Kingdom is my favorite rope drop park, because we can get so much done before 11. I feel if I miss rope drop there I'll be missing out on the opening show and so much more of my day. So do you have a favorite rope drop park, one you must be at for opening?

Here are my favourite ones in order..In first place..Epcot..If I see someone running past me towards Soarin I yell " Hey Buddy,is that your $20 bill that took off " pointing in the opposite direction..In second place..HS..This is where my power walking comes into action when I'am zooming towards Toy Story Mania..( out my way Lotso ) and third place is MK..I find that no one is running towards a certain one attraction..Some are heading for Space Mountain, others Big Thunder or Splash, others POTC or HM..As far as AK.Ive never been to a rope drop..In fact,do they even have one.?

I like the ak. Most times I've been there they do it in front if the tree. Minnie is usually on the safari bus and they do a cute little spiel.

Magic Kingdom as I can ride all the mountains twice each as well as pirates, haunted mansion and a few others before midday. There's also the show at the start which is a nice way to start the day although the experience was ruined on our last trip by a lone woman with a large camera who shoved her way past my mom almost knocking her over just so she could get in the park first :S

Although I'm sure there was an identical thread to this started a few weeks ago by Hatter I believe :/

Don't cry for me, Hatter. LOL. We still manage to have fun. My husband travels 80 miles r/t for work and he likes a lie-in as well on vacation. Although I do notice he can get up early when there's a tee time involved. :cautious:
Come on..When I worked for British Telecom,I drove approx 150 miles per day.But at WDW.My car keys are back at Glasgow airport hotel..There is a notice on the back of your resort room door that stipulates.." Under no circumstances will the guests sleep past 8.00am..Punishment will be 3 hours handcuffed to the seat at Captain E O.":jawdrop:

MK is the only one we have to be at. But we are usually at the park right at opening sometimes even the first at the turnstile. HS used to have a cute little show but I haven't seen that in awhile now.

Doing rope drop at AK was the only way for us to ride EE three times in 90 minutes (quick standby, pull FP, and quickly stand by again)- the crowd goes either to KS or EE in general but I can powerwalk with the best of them!

We need time for things to happen.
We never miss rope drop at any park so it's all of them. We doing a morning at each park at least once. MK and EP twice for sure.

We park hop all the time so we're usually out of the park that we 'rope dropped' at by 1:00 - 2:00 depending on if we decide to eat lunch at that park. Our evening or afternoon park is usually where we have our ADRs and where we spend the afternoon hopefully hitting a few more rides and\or shows.
