Ok guys..I meant to get this up last night, but better late than never. Give a tug on the yellow strap, cause here we go
Magic Kingdom
--While at Space Mountain, I noticed the warning sign they have at the end of the first straightaway in the queue was boarded up with very cheap black wood. Follwing this trend were the 4 tv's at the very end of the queue before boarding. They also added 2 new signs, one at the beginning of the queue and one at the end.
--Geiger's Counter, the hat shop in Tomorrowland, was closed, with construction walls up around it.
--Seems walls are coming down everywhere around WDW, as Philharmagic's came down today
--While walking through Adventureland, there was a little bit of "hoopla" by Magic Carpets of Alladin. I found out they were filming a new WDW commercial. This commercial stars that "nice" guy who had a crush on Cinderella, and dances among the topiaries. Boy, he sure had me fooled in the ads, cause he is a big jerk. He was dressed up as alladin for this one, and everytime someone got in the way, he would whine and cry like a small child. The thing I found most disturbing was, when the director yelled "background", a whole group of kids came running out of the Swiss Treehouse Queue, wearing there mouse ears, and throwing goofy dolls, it was SO hokey. BTW, His feet are really gross, as he is wearing sandals in this one
Meanwhile, back at Epcot
--In the morning, there was some filming going on at Mission:Space. The plants around the MS area completely ruin the whole atmosphere. If you go to the far right side, by the Test Track entrance, you can get a pretty good veiw.
--In the afternoon at Epcot, I was standing by the exit, watching the CM's come out from the preveiws, when I ran into someone (see my photoalbum:lol: )---Most everyone that came out went back to do it again, while only one chef walked back into the park saying it was "Intense" (thats a new one huh?) I didnt get to ride MS, so I had to resort to another form of simulation, Body Wars, whose line was about 45 mins.
Im starting this new part in my thread for people called defrosters, for CM's who go below expectations. Cause its happening alot more frequently and I thought someone should know
I am also starting my "Walk in the Park" award, for CM's who go above and beyond the call of duty.
These are new additions, starting on my next update, presumably THURSDAY...
but, Im sorry to say, my computer died last night, and im now writing from my moms work laptop. My dad is calling to get the waranty info. today at work, and hopefully, it should be up and running this week, who knows, maybe a year. What im trying to say is that I may be away for awhile, and to keep me posted on all the happenings going on on the web through my email "montuboy12@aol.com", cause I can still access that. Need advice or crowd levels or are just lonely going to the parks by yourself, shoot me an email
Ok..now on to everyone's question--Where are the pictures?
Well, I had the oppurtunity of getting some uploaded last night before my computer went to computer heaven, and the Wallless Philharmagic sign is on there, as well as MKT'S MS shirt pic. I have pics of the commercial being shot, its just there all on the computer thats died, but fear not, I have them still on a memory card.
Ok thats it folks, please collect your personal belongings, and step out to your left.
