Room Requests?

Just booked for the last week of January 2026 and am not being given an option for room requests in the online check in section. Is this new? I just had a trip in August I was able to do this for.

yes, the only things there are:

Messages during vacation
Hotel account charges
Hotel account pin
Your resort arrival
Reservation address

Your resort arrival only gives a drop down with what time Im planning on arriving at the resort
I stay on property 4 times a year and have never experienced this...I need my 1st floor near the bus stop lol!

Hi, I have tried both...they are identical

I would just contact them over the phone. Weird stuff like this usually gets sorted quickly this way, or in the very least, there is a good explanation.

I personally haven't heard anything...but am curious what they tell you, please update here when you can.

I did my check-in and noticed too that it no longer asked location for our room (I always asked near the lobby). Checked both the app and the website and it's no longer there.

So, i used the chat feature on the app and a cast member was able to submit my requests within seconds...she did not mention why it was taken off the check-in process or if it will return.

I suspect it’s been quietly removed to reduce guest expectations.

There have also been some glaring errors in the options, such as “savanna view” at SSR!

And also no doubt some guests behave badly when they don’t get what they requested.

Saves them a lot of aggravation when they can tell guests we will note your request but cannot guarantee you'll get what you've asked for.
