Room Layout

When we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside in 2007 (our first time ever on property), I remember walking into the room and the beds were on the right side of the room (using the door as the point of reference) and the TV and dresser were on the left. But when we stayed again in 2008, the beds were on the left and the TV and dresser were on the right. And when we stayed at Coronado Springs (both in 2010 and 2013), the beds were on the left and when we stayed at Carribbean Beach, they were on the left.

Just curious if they re-did all the rooms at some point, or if certain rooms are one way and certain rooms are the other? I know it's not a significant issue, but then again, in the grand scheme of things, this is a message board about a vacation resort. Is anything discussed on here really that significant? LOL

When we stayed at the Grand Floridian this year, the beds were on the left as well, although, to be fair, they were on the right of the door when we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in 2011.

Rooms are designed so that beds in each room share a common wall. So every-other-room would be the same layout, whether beds are on the left or the right. It may also be for bathroom plumbing, since in the deluxe resorts the bathrooms would be side by side.

If flips with every other room. The beds and windows are on opposite sides of the room. If you look from the outside at the windows, you can see how the rooms would alternate.
