Hi everyone I am dating a wonderful woman and we are thinking of going to Florida for a week in October and staying at a relatives while there. We will be renting a car and want to romance each other.I am looking for ideas to completely sweep her off her feet.

What I want to know is what are some of the more romantic places you have been at WDW or off property that are not overly extravagant or pricey as we are both not millionaires but want to enjoy a romantic vacation.(We aren't broke but we enjoy the simpler things in life and the meaniongs that go with them) I know Epcot at night while walking the countries with the torches lit is something we will love but give us more hints and ideas so we can have the most romantic vacation possible.

thanks everyone!

France at EPCOT. Good luck getting a reservation though D:, if not the pavilion is still amazing.

And the Poly beach is always romantic at night, and provides a good view for Wishes. I don't know what you guys consider romantic, but I would try to go on a ride that you both enjoy very much at night :)

Eating dinner almost anywhere at Epcot like Le Cellier, Marrakesh, Coral Reef, etc. Also eating dinner at a deluxe resort like AP, CG, Jiko's, etc. You could take a horse carriage ride at WL, watch fireworks at one of the deluxe resorts like GF, Poly, etc. You could do a Illuminations Cruise, etc.

They have a horse carriage at WL? That sounds very nice! As far as resteraunts I think Le Cellier would be where we would enjoy most.Canada with that waterfall by exit of movie is a romantic spot in my mind just hope she will enjoy it too.

My wife said the most romantic moment she ever had was when I carried her in my arms, dropped her on our bed at the Grand Floridian, and popped open a bottle of baby oil and squeezed it on my body and flexed for her.

She says her heart still races at the thought of that moment.

Do you have to have a reservation at hotel?
Do you mean a ressie at a restaurant? If so, I am not sure. We usually take the monorail or bus over there. I am not sure how strict they are. You could always try telling them that you just wanted to grab a Dole Whip at Captain Cooks or a cocktail at the Tambu Lounge. That might work.

Here is an idea that requires NO MONEY, just IMAGINATION...

A day or two before you leave, start to tell your BF a story, but stopping to keep him in suspense, then continue the story as the days go by. The ending would be watching Wishes at the Magic Kingdom on your last night...

You can take his hand walk down Main Street USA to the Rose Garden area to the right of the castle and tell him that you have planned a special surprise for him as an ending to your vacation...don't forget to add..

"...and they lived happily ever after!"

You may want to resort hop and look at the different styles and theming for the resorts THATS SIMPLE & FREE!
Try going to Celebration for an evening have dinner along the street at a cafe and then take a stroll around the lake/town or take in a movie!?

This requires a little planning but pack a picnic lunch with your favorite foods, and don't forget the wine and wine glasses, too. Take a trip to Lake Eola and have a picnic lunch and just watch life go by until the sun sets on the horizon!

I AM the BF lol :ROFLOL:

I want to sweep the GF off her feet but I think switching the references in this story you just gave will maybe make it ok as well

I haven't tried this before so maybe it would be worth a shot or better yet maybe just get ressies at a resteraunt and watch from there.

Great ideas so far!
