Rock'n'Roller Coaster *UPDATE* not open today

For those of you Coaster fans, I have some unfortunate news. Rock'n'Roller Coaster did not open today at all due to technical difficulties. It was down for much of the day yesterday as well for the same problem. After FastPasses were distributed, the courtyard gates were completely shut and no one was allowed in. There is no time frame yet on when it will be fixed and I will keep you posted with any info I hear.

If you have Coaster FastPasses from yesterday or today and the ride does open tomorrow, managers have said they will be accepted at the same time window on the pass.

[ UPDATE ] Coaster was not open again today, June 17th.

[ UPDATE ] Coaster is now open again, June 18th.

Anyone know what the problem is? Edit: Didn't know they've had problems for the past week!
Maybe the bats moved in again since HM is closed.:lol: Darn bats!!

This same problem has been happening for the last week and a half. They still didn't know what was causing it as of 4PM today and the ride never opened. They called in engineering managers and even flew in cast from California to work on the problem. Yes it is a major attraction, but if they can't find the root of the problem, they can't fix it.

I really hope its not a blown Lsm. That could take a little while to repair depending if they have an extra on site or not. If its not that then it shouldnt be down for long.

Yes.....exactly.....


Yesterday and (mostly) today, guests were VERY ed about it being closed. They had Tower Of Terror open until 11 (an hour extra; park closes at 10) as well as added a second Fantasmic! (Don't know why they would only plan on having one on a SW Weekend Saturday anyways...)

Yeah, but stuff breaks, I guess them not knowing what the problem is makes this worse then usual.

I've dealt with full day breakdowns in the past, and its usually because a part needs to be refabricated by hand. If they don't know what's wrong, that's a good bit more troubling.

Well that's a whole 'nother story ... but having Tower open until 11 was definitely a nice plus after having Coaster down all day.
