Rockin Roller Coaster 101 due to Bat

Does anyone remember this actually happening to that guyFabio? I don't remember where it was, but he was on a roller coaster and a brid flew by, hit and broke his nose!!

That was during the opening press event for Apollo's Chariot at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Fabio was riding in the front car and smacked into a passing goose. I don't think it broke his nose, but he got a bit bloodied up by it with a cut or two.

How would CM's know there was a bat in the building? Do the tower monitors see something fly past the screen and close things down to take a look?

Haha, I have had a similar bat in ride experience. I was on an indoor rollercoaster in Ohio. The train in front of mine was in the unload room and a bat flew into the room. The train was full of college aged guys who were freaking out because of this bat flying around the room. Funniest part was that all of the ride hosts had taken cover in the controls room (all females) and wouldn't come out into the unload room to unlock their lap bars so they were stuck. Bats don't bother me so I was totally cracking up.

Which also get's me thinking...how come we always see pics and video's of Space Mtn with the lights on but I've never seen anything of RnR with the lights on....

I guess they need a TTA type attraction to go through RnR too...
