That is what I was thinking. It is quite common for builders to do finish mock-ups on or off site for big projects.Maybe it's just a good area to test some new rockwork techniques before they actually try them on site.
The landing strip. A single run way outside of MK parking. It houses trailors and lines for parked cars. A few short years ago, it still looked just like a runway. Saw it with me own eyes.Ignorant question of the thread: What is STOLport?
Short Take Off and Landing air port. Many many moons ago there was a small airport located next to the TTC. The runways remain and you can check them out on Google earth.Ignorant question of the thread: What is STOLport?

Maybe they are finally removing large chunks of River Country?
I was driving around the MK area yesterday and noticed some large pieces of artificial rock work sitting in the STOLport area. Anyone know what they are for? They looked to be Big Thunder or Splash Mountain type and color.
Big Thunder was missing the large moving rocks during our recent visit... could it be those???
I rode BTMRR three times this week and the rock effect was off each time.
