Rock n' Rollercoaster. What was there before?

Tried researching Rock N' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith because I was trying to figure out what was there before. Does anyone know what used to be there before RnR was built?

Immediately before Rock N Roller Coaster's construction, that pad also housed trailers for Disney Feature Animation. I remember having lunch with a friend back there watching the Tower of Tower while we ate. She told me stories of how TOT's power needs disrupted the computers they used for CGI rendering. Feature Animation Florida got a much larger, permanent building adjacent to the theme park tour, and the park got to build RNR. (Unfortunately Disney decided to shut down the Florida studio just a couple of years later)

I have to ask-the building in this picture, between what is now the Hollywood Brown Derby and Starbucks and where Sunset Drive now starts-what was the building used for before it was demolished to make way for Sunset Drive? I was only at DHS for the original iteration of the park once (in 1990, funny enough) and I do not remember what this building contained.

The original Theatre of the Stars amphitheatre.
