Rob Zombie and Disney?

wow, i just read the lyrics to tragic kingdom and youre right that sounds like that could be about disney. not taht i agree with what shes saying but i can see the similarities. especially about the electrical parade... if its not about disney, they definitely got their inspiration from disney.

btw, i hate gwen stefani. no doubt should have stayed a ska band. now shes out teaching us how to spell bananas. b-a-n-a-n-a-s.

I think anyone in their right mind would agree with that! There was a lot of talent in that band.

I thought it was Jack Wagners Monorail spiel?

No it may not be the matterhorn spiel...I think it is and have been told it is but can not be sure. I have never been to DL. It may be Wagner though. It has been a long time since I listened to the song.

what part of the lyrics?

doesnt sound like (at least the way i interpreted it) gwen and company actually liked DL like reported and mentioned by martin.

It is in the beginning of the song. The reason I do think it is not the Monorail spiel...because it says remain seated please. Maybe it is just me though. Kind of sounds like a generic saftey spiel.

They do love Disney, it is just the way the song explains how the dream has turned into just a big franchise.

Here is the song with a random video someone made from a TV show. But the song is "Tragic kingdom"

Look out for the bootleg versions of You hate and Angel - Du Hast and Engel in english. Apart from that I have no idea either. Also look out for the Junkie XL mix of Feuer Friel - way cool! I always request it at my local club (and the regular version is great too)

Huh, who woulda thought that this thread about hard rock/metal would be the nice clean thread around these parts? A lot of trolls around today.

I saw Zombie in May on his Educated Horses tour. Great show, as always. But I also really liked his opening act, Lacuna Coil. I had never really heard their music before, but they put on a great set.

As far as the Superbeast sound that is like Space Mountain, I was hoping to find some online list as to what movie it was sampled from (assuming it is from something and not just a sound he made on a synth), but no such luck. And here I thought the web was littered with obscure fan lists like that...

Dude i saw them at download 2006 at donnington and they played enjoy the silence off of they're new album (cover of depeche mode). And they are STUNNING live, coming back to the uk too for a tour with devil driver supporting... - which will be a show in itself...

freur frei - awesome song - i went to see rammstein twice last year :) once in nottingham and the other in glasgow on the reise reise tour. Both shows singed my eye brows! Both times in the mosh pit too :)

I would love to see them in concert. Last time I knew they were in the states was the Family Values tour years ago and back then I wasnt as in to them as I am now. I would love to s ee them in concert. That would be insane.

This is too funny talking about hard rock on a disney board  It's nice to know I'm not the only diverse one who loves Disney and Hard Rock!

Yeah, it was funny when Lacuna Coil introduced Enjoy the Silence at their NYC Zombie show. They were like, "This is a cover by Depeche Mode. They are a European band." As if no one in the States had ever heard of Depeche Mode before...

Thanks. Your avatar looks familiar, but I'm not quite placing the anime...

And that Skindred sounds pretty good.

Yeah, there's a pretty diverse crowd on this board. A lot of people love DisneyWorld! My own musical tastes are fairly eclectic, only occasionally wandering into hard rock.

Its Hellsing (the japanese horror(ish) anime series - the best series to date)

Best movie of course is ichi the killer (anime version)
