RnR coaster or ToT (advice)

The wait for ToT is usually less than RnRc...today for example, there was a 30 minute wait for ToT but a 90 minute wait for RnRc. Then a few days ago the wait was only 20 minutes for ToT and 50 or 60 for RnRc.

What I usually do is get a Fastpass for RnRc as soon as I get there and then hop in line (if its in the morning and there's not really much of a wait) and THEN go to ToT and just ride. (Or in my case, wait by the exit while whoever I'm with rides. :lookaroun:lol:)

:ROFLOL:Sounds familiar. We were just at MGM last week and even though me and my daughter had rode ToT 2 years ago on our last trip, we both bailed on my wife at the last minute and she ended up riding it by herself.:(

 I've only ridden once and I decided that was enough. Unfortunately I promised my BF I'd ride it with him on his birthday next week.

Good luck with that!:D March 2005 was my first trip to WDW and I rode everything there (including ToT). I was having nightmares about riding it this year but thought that I could get myself psyched up to ride it once we got there. I was sadly mistaken though :(. The thing I regret even more is that I didn't even ride RnRC this time and I really loved that ride last time. I REALLY chickened out this year, huh! :hurl: I guess I will have to go back to WDW in a few years just to conquer my fears of those 2 rides.

Hello,

I'm going to MGM on Sunday..... Where do I go first? Is it best to get a fastpass for one of them first and then go ride the other? ....or can they both be done in little time first thing in the morning.

Thanks.

I would recommend you get a Fastpass for ToT as it is right at the end of Sunset Blvd. & then continue on to RnR Coaster. When you get off you could still easily ride ToT standby with little wait. Then grab a drink @ Sunshine food fair & get a Fastpass for RnR as soon as your Fastpass for ToT becomes active. Then you can ride ToT & RnR again. You will have done both 2 times in the first couple the park is open. Usually works for me & my son.
