Hello all!

I just returned home from a 10 night stay at POR with my family.

Here is what they have set up at POR during the rehab:

Bar area has muffins, cold cereal, fruit and juices for breakfast. Your snack credits on the dining plan could be used for these.

Mill area has Hot breakfast meals set up like a buffet, but they scoop the food for you. Dinner is the same with an additional childs plate of macaroni, corn and chicken nuggets. These meals could be purchased with counter service credits.

Mill area also has coolers with drinks and cold food (no sandwiches) and salads. Open all day. Snack credits accepted.

The drink stations are open and they are still selling the refillable mugs!

Thank you so much for this post. You have no idea how much this helps on our trip planning to have someone post the details of the food court offerings at our favorite hotel. Man, I wish I could have stayed 10 days at POR. I would not know how to act.

You are all very welcome. And yes, they do accept U.S. currency. As a side note, the general store was allowing some food or drink items (non alcoholic) to be purchased using snack credits. For example, a young woman ahead of me in line purchased a 2-litre of Coca-cola as her snack item.

Do you know how long the refurb is going to be? We are currently scheduled for Apr 20-23.
