I noticed the Canons were working on tbe dis+ pov video they posted today. I believe it was the Disneyland version. I have done the florida version many and haven't seen them working since march 2020.

Yes, earlier this year they repaired the cannons at Disneyland (although I don’t know the uptime of the cannons since the fix). It’s been rumored that the fix will be implemented at WDW, but no official word yet to my knowledge.

Does anyone know the story behind the transfer vehicles infront of the first elevator lift (the fake elevators)?

Seemed to show up about a week ago with one parked infront of each elevator (two total) before possibly disappearing? Today there was one parked infront of the left elevator.

Is this an old element of the ride or new addition?

Those are just parking spot for the RVs.

If the ride goes down during the day and they need to remove some RVs from the ride track, they can quickly move them to these designated parking spots. There are also usually chargers in the floor at these spots.

Then they just add new RVs while the ride is cycling from backstage.

These parking spots are also heavily used if the ride is running at half capacity since there's not enough room backstage to hold all the non-used ones.

Off the top of my head, the parking spots are at:
  • When you first encounter the storm troopers and they open fire.
  • In AT-AT room in the back near the mirror. Also behind the closing door on track B (side AT-AT).
  • In between the cannons.
  • End of hallway where the escape pod doors are.

This is very interesting! I thought you would know, thank you!

I have noticed this version consistently running at lower capacity while the DL version runs at higher capacity. I can tell by the backup at the end. I also notice lower downtime when it runs at lower capacity. Anyone know if they are related?

As a side note, I rode yesterday at night and the only effect broken was the cannons in B mode, which obviously has been a thing for a long time.
