I guess if I had posted a photo of the barges on the scrap trailer going down I4... Everyone would have been like "OMG"
wow really? I fully expected the hardware to be repurposed.Off to the scrap yard, she goes.
It should just be being removed from the water and taken to an outdoor location still within the park.wow really? I fully expected the hardware to be repurposed.
I even expected some of the floats to be reused in whatever takes over from RoL.wow really? I fully expected the hardware to be repurposed.
Will there be a new show of some sorts? Not even remotely new. Disney confirmed this months ago.
Horizons is also closing.
This is one of those threads where a glossary of abbreviations and acronyms might come in handy for those of us who have no idea what ROL is.

Wow, that's really sad. I was originally really excited for this show, and never got to see it. I know it wasn't everyone's favorite, but it seemed really magical. I was holding off watching it on youtube, so I could see it in person for the first time, but I guess that's my only option now.
It was nice to look at on the EE lift hillROL. It was pretty to look at, but for 20 minutes you're waiting for something exciting or meaningful to happen, but you're left wanting by the end. A beautiful, yet hollow, show.
