Riding all 47 rides in 1 day, they did it...

I managed to do 46 rides out of 47 on 21st March 2015 - basically all rides except Dinosaur which went down at around 4pm. I did a total of 48 rides, as I rode Astro Orbitor twice.

Everything in MK, Epcot, HS, and all in AK with the exception of Dinosaur.

I walked 36 miles and started at 6:40am at HS and ended at around 2:50am in MK EMH.

One hell of a day!

To anyone who thinks it's meaningless, I would compare it to running a Marathon

Instead of a simple route, the Marathon is broken up with rides, fuelled by Dole Whip and Cinnamon Rolls, on an ever-changing route, with millions of obstacles along the way. I had someone in the UK altering my Fastpass bookings online and monitoring all ride breakdowns etc.

It was one hell of a lot of fun though! Exhausting though, I spent the next day at Typhoon Lagoon.

We were in the parks that day. Since it was pretty crowded, I wonder how they beat all of the long lines to accomplish such a great task. Did they have some magical fast pass?

Tell me about your day. How did you do it? I like to consider myself a park commando, but obviously I have much to learn.

Until this morning, I was proud of myself for doing 22 rides, a Plaza Inn character breakfast and Blue Bayou dinner at Disneyland this past November.
This was before MyMagic and Fast Pass Plus...much easier to get fast passes back then. Got there before the park opened. Hit up MK first. Stayed until about 11, then swung over to Studios and Animal Kingdom. Around 5 I went to Epcot...then later on back to MK. It wasn't too busy at any of the parks at all, and long hour days. I probably had enough time to do all 40+ rides, but I took time to eat 3 meals, as spent some time in shops instead.

Well I am glad the challenge they completed mad them happy. As for me there are some rides I just avoid either because I don't like them or I just have done them a ton of times before. I'd much rather ride the Mine ride a few times then try and get the Tiki Room in or Hall of Presidents. Glad these kids enjoyed their day though.
