You're right, there's absolutely no sense of adventure in a ride that takes you through a lush jungle and carries you on 4 of the worlds most exotic rivers, while simultaneously being attacked by hippos and natives, and seeing plenty of animals.![]()
Oh, you must be mistaken. I'm talking about the ridiculously slow-moving, boring boat-on-a-track ride in which you simply move along past some of THE worst, outdated, and fake-looking animatronic animals that you could possibly find in all of WDW. This is the same ride that doesn't take you through anything remotely resembling a "lush jungle", anything close to the "world's most exotic rivers", all the while being forced to sit with an extremely UN-funny boat skipper (and they're ALL un-funny) telling the worst jokes possible. (And each of the past 3 times I've been dragged onto the ride with the group I was with, not ONE person in our group or of the other riders laughed at the skipper.) That's not adventure.....that's torture.
