Riders seen on 7DMT

I was in MK on Thursday night and noticed they had the ride running. One train passed by and looked to have 2 people in it. The other trains appeared to have weights in each seat....like literally a barbell with plates stacked on it. Also, it was very quiet on the tracks. If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have known it was even operating.

But rumor is that Snow will appear in the cottage at the end of the ride.
Quite the contrary from what I heard. Snow White will actually do meet and greets in Town Square while Anna and Elsa bump her. @drew81 - is it true Snow White will steer clear because the focus is technically the dwarfs?

The cottage will contain a show scene with an animatronic Snow White, not a live one.

That's what I thought - animatronic Snow White on ride and meet'n'greet elsewhere.

Very nice. We are eagerly awaiting our January 2015 trip. In 2010 all we saw was dirt and construction and walls. To see this coming together is very exciting. Our expectations are high just for the detail of the expansion. Whether we like the rides or not is something to be seen. But we love the pics and videos out on here and youtube.

We can't wait for our trip in a few months!! :) When we last went, 2012, there was the structure for the mountain up, and it was being covered... From the videos/photos I've seen - the ride detail looks great! The ride should be good - but I bet the lines won't be at first!?!

Because the mine ride displaced the planned M&Gs so they had to go somewhere. Not saying it's a good reason.

Personally, I think a better location would have been the Philharmagic building. They could have basically swapped Philharmagic with the old princess location in the Town Square Theater (having Philharmagic right next to the Mickey M&G would make perfect sense) and left SWSA alone -- or switched it to a ride with a different theme (Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled, etc.). I love Philharmagic, but it isn't exactly a great thematic fit for the medieval European setup of Fantasyland, which has been more pronounced with the castle walls.

Edit: I'll also point out (again) that DL has two rides based on Dumbo and two rides based on Alice in Wonderland in close proximity to each other and seems to survive just fine. Let alone entire lands (Bug's Land and Cars Land) devoted to single franchises.

To me, it doesn't appear as though they're rocking in the photos; but then that's probably hard to tell in a photo. I guess I would imagine in a turn like that, the seating cart would be more vertical if it DID have a rocking motion?
