Looks cool, but I wonder if it has the same "cheap vibe" that plagues the Little Mermaid ride.

I hope I am not dissapointed when this opens up. I was very excited for Little Mermaid and was severely let down by it (the que is more exciting than the ride).

Nothing has been said - lol. If humans were riding it, then it must have passed the relevant health and safety checks etc.

I hope I am not dissapointed when this opens up. I was very excited for Little Mermaid and was severely let down by it (the que is more exciting than the ride).

I hope we're not let down either - there has been so much hype about 7DMT, it better be worth it. I'm sure it will be great - it's Disney after all!

I think it depends on your expectations. It is going to be a well themed coaster suitable for little ones, combined with a show scene. People expecting Big Thunder or Everest will be disappointed of course.

Yeah - I was thinking that the swinging may be a whole new dimension. The experience was designed to be slightly more 'family friendly' than BTMR, but, from what I recall, it has similar height restrictions...

35" for barnstormer, 38" for mine train, 40" for big thunder

Imagineering has explicitly described it from the start as being between Barnstormer and BTMRR in intensity.

I think Disney wanted another family-friendly roller coaster, rather than just a dark ride, so re-invented the snow white dark ride, as a family coaster...
