Explain this
"A guy in our car pulled up His shirt and the picture was available at the end of the ride.

That started a conversation on how they prevent inappropriate photos from appearing"
oh for heavens sake. Where do you people come from? I got it. It was just a thought brought on by a guy pulling up his shirt. The OP then wondered what they do if there was something worse or inappropriate. I swear there are people here just looking to argue.

Honestly, i wouldn't have expected them to block that guy's picture. It was Innocent enough If it was this big of a issue then wouldnt they have banned guys into the water parks if they weren't wearing a sun/pool shirt? This is stuff you have to know before complaining that they should have banned the picture.

you must be a hoot at parties

I figured it out! Thanks! He was in front of us not behind. I had the perfect I am so scared pose and he ruined it lol! Very surprised it made it in our Memory Maker Disc.

I have a photo from Buzz LightYear of my Son, 13 or 14 at the time, with his shirt lifted. it got a lot of chuckles when it popped up on the screen.

Since we got sidetracked... so does anyone know how they censor the photos? Is it a live cm or software (or both).

I had a friend that I hadnt seen for many years join me on a trip. We went on Splash and we wanted the photo badly as a memory of our ride together but it got wiped because of someones gesture. I asked the CM at the purchase desk and was told they did have someone screening out the ones they dont release.

I can confirm that they have humans looking at it, for example if a celebrity rides the ride they never post the photo.

Full confession: When I was a punk teenager I flipped off the camera on The Mummy at Universal. Universal employee (can't remember what they call themselves, TMs?) at the photo counter told me I was in danger of getting kicked out of the park. Would never have tried it at Disney though.

I read an article on this the other day.. not sure where.. but they used to have people who would screen the photos before they were posted, but the cases of needing to pull photos was so rare, they decided to cut the position..

I just looked it up.. it wasn't a recent decision.. this article is from 8 years ago.. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/mon...-space-mountain-tower-terror-article-1.408694

There is probably a software algorithm that can find that sort of thing these days.. If they can have facial recognition.. I'm sure they can 'recognize' other things too.. ;)
