Ride Mash-Ups

So last night my wife & I were talking about our trip, and what we couldn't wait to do, etc. & somehow the conversation wandered to: If you could combine 2 rides what would they be?

My wife said she'd want to combine Soarin' & Philharmagic, have an orchestral 3D film & flight experience.

I said I'd want to combine the Haunted Mansion (like no one saw that coming) and Pirates of the Caribbean into an 'undead pirates' kind of ride.

So, if you could combine 2 rides at Disneyworld into your favorite 'new' ride, what would they be?

You could do numerous mix ups with this. Splash and BTMMR would be good; that would make a great thrill ride thats fast and has big drops.

Or maybe, Tot and RnR togther, also fast with big drops.

Yeah, I like rides that are fast and have big drops.

Tiki Room Under New Management + Stitches Great Escape

Addition by subtraction - with these two combined we only have to deal with one disappointing attraction instead of both. (Plus from what I've heard, the Tokyo Disney version of Tiki Room is actually somewhat decent with Stitch included.)

Someone already did that (in audio form) about 7 years ago - sort of. David G. Ravenswood of Ravenswood Manor.com took audio from Phantom Manor and combined it with Pirates of the Caribbean turning it into "Phantoms of the Caribbean". Turned out quite well.

Space Mountain and Body Wars...build full sets in the dome and you'd fly through them like you're in the human body!

The Great Movie Ride and Imagination = The Great Movie Ride with Figment!

Of course they could always put the Biergarten buffet, El Gran Fiesta Tour and Malestrom together...a float through buffet with a drop! You'd have to grab your food as you ride by and there would be a different course in each room...but you've gotta eat fast, because once you get to the drop finale, there's a big wave to wash all of the loose food out of the boat!

Awesome thread idea! There are so many possibilities. How about HoP and Tikki. I'd love to see Bush as a parrot. Or Cindy's Carousel and GMR. The horses could break free like in Mary Poppins and take you on a ride through the golden age of cinema. Star Tours and Peter Pan might be fun. Take a flight to Neverland with Yoda. "Want to grow up I don't."
