revived trip!

I thought, until today, that our up-coming trip was a no go. However....we have looked everything over a million times and in keeping with our "cash only" vacation budget we have decided to go!!!

I am over the moon right now! Party twice, smaller food budget and smaller souvenier budget BUT in a few short days, well, 11 long days, we will be in our happy place once again!

So happy you are able to go!!:sohappy: I am not so lucky..... We had to cancel our Oct trip. But our Nov trip will make up for it. What we have saved for Oct will be applied to Nov trip. Which is going to bigger and better. It's my birthday trip in Nov and my DH has amny many surprises planned. I can't wait so excited!! Again very happy for you! Have a wonderful time!!

If it meant the differnce between doing and not going..I think i could go without spend money on extra's..just being there would be good enought for me. Very happy you are able to make this trip happen. Hope you all have a awesome time. The memories are are priceless!! :sohappy:

Funny thing, I booked the original trip with a great pin code offer of 40% off a value and 35% off a moderate. We had planned 3 nights at Sports followed by 4 nights at FW in a cabin. We let that go a few months ago, when we thought we would not be able to go. However, on August 5th I got another pin code for 25% off values so I began to dream up another, smaller trip. I finally convinced DH to take a look at the possibilities, wrote everything down on paper, with the same amount going into our savings account as we always do, and he agreed we could manage a trip!

Fast forward to yesterday, he agreed to the trip, and today I booked a 5 night stay at POP, not Sports (our favorite value) but somehow we will make it work! Two nights at the MNSSHP and a few days in the other parks, counter service meals, and no souveniers.... BUT a trip! 10 days and counting! :sohappy:

Sounds great. You will love POP we do now.. But one question WHY 2 nights to party that is a huge expense tickts are not cheap for this. What about eating? With the extra ticket night you could really spend some money on something else. Just asking??

Two nights at the party because it is our favorite thing to do. That is the one thing DH would not even budge on, thank goodness! 8 days and counting!

Thanks. I would love to use a credit card sometimes but we have adjusted quite well to our new and improved cash only policy. It is a good feeling!

Yes you do, My hubby had found out that he had bladder cancer in Nov 2010 Had to scrap the whole trip. He was having surgery 3 weeks before going and would not have healed to walk that much. Now a one kidney guy and just got out of hospital from renal failure so we moved our trip to Jan as well. Lets hope we all go cancer and pain free in Jan. You will be in our prayers everynight. It will be here before we are ready, but certainly willing....
