Review: Tangled......

I just got back from it. Over all I thought it was pretty good, but not as good as some of the members on here have been raving. I thought the first half of the movie was just okay (it still had quite a Dreamworks-esque feel to it IMO), but from the lantern scene onwards I thought it picked up considerably. Especially the finale where it got really nice and dramatic.

My biggest problem? The songs. I for the life of me could not repeat any of them right now. I actually found the songs in PATF to be more memorable which is really saying somthing. :lol: They weren't bad, but none of them stood out or had any really catchy tune.

Yes, and I'd say it has earned at least some consideration it should be added to the FLE. I have always thought the tower would work behind the FL skyway station with the station itself acting as a m&g and small shop.

It would help define FL's "borders" and help minimize the wait times at the other FL m&g's. Both traditional and the new type m&g's.

If there are plans for the Skyway area, the Tangled characters could always stay where they are now since Belle's getting a new location anyway. Some added features to that area could make it really look good.

Another box office update shows Tangled at over $96 million domestically after less than two weeks in release. Hope the good numbers continue as a $260 million budget is not exactly easy to recover.

Add in nearly $15M from a very limited foreign market, and it's over $111M to date. With many if the larger foreign ones yet to go....
