One thing I haven't seen mentioned yet, has anyone sat at a table with more than one ordering "group"? i.e. can the table's RFID system handle more than one Enchanted Rose tag per table? I haven't read from anyone who's done that yet.

I know the greeter at the entrance to the parlor ordering room asks your party size, but that doesn't work if you have a group where people want/need to pay individually or use different dining plans.

Good question! Someone needs to test that out to see how it goes.

I was there on Nov 3 and we had two ordering groups (therefore 2 roses at our table). In my opinion the system worked very well; we paid separately without a hitch, the first order was brought to the table and that rose was removed and the second one came shortly after without an issue.

I can however see a potential for a rose mix up where the wrong rose is returned to the server.

Has anyone who has had the potato leek soup at Be Our Guest also had the potato leek at 3 Broomsticks? If so, how do they compare? I thought the soup at 3 Broomsticks was awful, but I don't eat it in "real life" so I don't know if it's just an awful soup, of if their version is just awful.

Go to about 3:00 and watch the tapestries. Well played WDI. Well played.

PS, Thought I would just post this here since it's Be Our Guest related.

Anyone know why the prices went up 25-30% since the place started serving lunch?

The prices are 25-30% higher than the ones posted here in the menus and pictures or they were lower and have been raised to this level? If they started lower and were raised it could have been an "employee discount" since the soft openings were mostly for cast members. Just a thought. No idea really.

This is correct as far as I know..when I was there I asked for my DVC discount and was told the prices were already discounted for Cast Members for a limited time.

Well since the Rose is used to locate you.. they will find at least part of your party...and I think you'll know where the rest of your party is seated.. probably not a huge issue :) And if different parties are at the same table.. people just say 'hi' and figure out whose food is whose. They already have to have that conversation to hand the food out anyways.

Well, actually, the Unicorn Tapestries fit in better in the Beast's Castle than they do in Potterville, since the original tapestries are French in origin. :)

Well......

Seen as its actually from the Netherlands originally. I think the imagineers forgot where BatB was actually set, rural village in France, more like the low countries.

So is there any difference between lunch and dinner besides the different menus and the ability to make a reservation? Is dinner still ordered with the touch screens, or does a waiter/waitress take a dinner order at the table?
