At Disneyland's version of Winnie the Pooh Melvin, Max & Buff versions from the Mile Long Bar were hidden after the Dream Sequence for a nod to what was "formally" there The Country Bear Jamboree..

I know this picture is in Disneyland but it brings to mind something.
Am I completely insane or am I remembering something from Magic Kingdom incorrectly. Didn't Max, Buff, and Melvin used to have their backsides coming out of the other side of the exit wall? Two years ago I tried to show some people the backsides as we left, but the wall didn't have them and appeared to be shifted cutting off any room behind Melvin
Can someone confirm I remember correctly or that I am insane?

TIA

Don't know if this quite counts, but some of the AA for the proposed Western River Expedition were later used in Living With the Land. If I am remembering correctly, the buffalo and prairie dogs in particular!

This is true, according to a couple of WED / MAPO folks I have had encounters with.
It is the buffalo figures that were originally made for use within the proposed 'Western River Expedition' Attraction.

When the plans to build Thunder Mesa at WDW fell to the wayside, the buffalo were repurposed and ended up being placed within the desert scene in Epcot's 'Living With The Land' boat tour.

Dreamfinder is on phantom manor in Paris as the mayor but as the park opened in 1992 I'm guessing this is a copy

I also remember reading he family in horizons were based on the carousel of progress family showing them living in the new century

Let's do this for Spaceship Earth! I'm sure some of you have what I'm missing!

Caveman Scene:
Addition of an additional animatronic in the last refurb - could be Kaiko from the video chat scene?

Egypt:
The vizier is also Taft

Phoenicians:
Phoenician Sea Captain is said to also be the Store Owner in the Great Depression scene in American Adventure

Greece:
The two new young dudes are from the old poetry/Renaissance scene

Rome:
Roman Senator is said to also be the Teddy Roosevelt
Centurion is said to also be Zachary Taylor

Islamic Scholars:
We lost one in the latest refurb. Did he end up someplace else like the Renaissance (also sitting criss cross)
We also lost the dude standing in the library, where did he go? Mainframe computer room?

The sitting scholar is said to also be Franklin Pierce from the Hall of Presidents

Monks:
The monk that is awake and transcribing is said to also be the John Adams
Rumor also has it that the sleeping monk in the monastary is the same figure as Woodrow Wilson

Printing Press:
The composer at the letter tray leaves to go to a computer scene (boy in his room - now removed)
The printer who is pushing/pulling the tray is said to also be the Andrew Jackson
Johannes Gutenberg is said to also be the James Buchanan
The pressman is said to also be the Andrew Carnegie from American Adventure

Renaissance:
We got someone new here - was he the scholar that was removed from the Islamic Scene?
The lute player is said to also be the Dwight D. Eisenhower/Dad from Carousel of Progress
Female musician is the daughter from the Carousel of Progress

Steam Press:
Pressman is said to also be the Banjo Player from the Depression scene in American Adventure. But I think there was a previous pressman that looked different than the one we have now.

Telegraph:
Telegraph Operator is said to also be the Mathew Brady in American Adventure
The Telegraph Reporter is said to also be the Store Owner in American Adventure.

Cinema:
Woman in the ticket booth - also the daughter from Carousel of Progress?

Radio:
Sound Engineer is said to also be the Mathew Brady in American Adventure
The woman in the sound booth from the old version was moved to the Mainframe computer scene.

TV:
We got the dude lying down from the old computer video chat scene

Computers ('82-'94):
Boy in his room - removed, did he end up anywhere?
Woman in her office (from the NOC) - she was removed, did she end up anywhere?

Dude left over from the NOC - did he become the dude in the garage?

Computers ('94-'07):
Dude lying down went to the TV scene.
Keiko possibly went to the Caveman scene

Computers (current):
Mainframe woman - from radio scene
Mainframe man - was he the dude that was standing in the library?
Dude in the garage - was he the guy that used to be sitting at the NOC?
