Right, but I can't hold simultaneous reservations in MK, AK, and Disney Springs. Plus, you have to cancel ADR's the night before in order to avoid the no-show fee unless you use a work-around or call and beg.

But lets say you have 2 HS days to increase the chances of getting a RoTR BG, and Sci Fi diner is a must eat for you. You have a backup plan of Epcot and Via Napoli if you dont get the RoTR BG. Wouldnt people book both Sci-Fi and Via Napoli for both days not knowing which day they would get the boarding group?

Sci fi is almost as hard to get at a BG. If you have it your first day, you eat there regardless. And then plan Via Napoli for dinner on the second day and hop there. Otherwise cancellation fees are very possible.

Those were just examples. The overall point being if you dont know which day you will get your BG you would book dining for both days at multiple parks. Many people would gladly hand over 10 dollars if it meant they got a BG and the restaurant they want.

Cancellation fees are certainly not worth a 2 hour hold to talk to someone on the phone about it.

Confused here, if someone over books dining and wants to cancel 6 hours ahead of time and incurs a 10 dollar fee they have to call someone on the phone? What happens if they simply dont show up?

No, you have to call on the phone if you want to avoid the fee. And if I have the charge right from my recent trip it might be $10 per person on the reservation.

Yes, $10/person. Not terrible for 1 or 2 people, but get a family and it's not so easy to throw that away. In the hypothetical situation the OP described, I'd be making my choice ahead of time as to which thing was more important. Or make the reservations for evening and hope for an early BG.

Been a while since I’ve been in here and I’m wondering-
Do we have any confirmation that things like The Little Mermaid Show, Citizens of Hollywood, Nemo, or the Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe may (or may not) be coming back? Those were great examples of ways to occupy/Entertain the peeps and assist with wait times for rides. I’m wondering as they ramp up, if these will come back or are they gone for good.

Nobody knows but the cast members for Indy/Nemo show hasn’t been recalled yet. If they are coming back, it seems like 2022 is the likely target. Disney has until end of 2021 for some sort of recall rights for Equity Guild.

Big news for return to normalcy…..the big plant at the front of Pandora is open to touch again, and is fully operational. Truly nature is healing

Ok, now I have a reason to go back! ;)

Sometimes it's just the little things. At my company, when food is brought in for a big meeting, the leftovers are put out for the employees after the meeting. A week or so ago was the first time this happened since the start of the pandemic and it felt so great to have it back!

Probably safe to assume some of the closures are permanent. :/

The point is, however, that you aren't truly "locked in" until you've entered a park for the day. So if we have selected AK for the day, but then we accidentally sleep in and miss rope drop, there's nothing that currently would stop us from cancelling the pass for AK and rebooking for MK. Will they have staffed MK for that possibility?

I imagine if MK is not stuffed to allow you to change, then there would be no open park pass for MK.

I believe they also state one can park hope after 2 PM IF the destination park is allowing guest in (thought I hear this has not happened yet).

Anyway, just mentioning that by needing a park pass, Disney can try to control staff to crowd ratios.

Does anyone know if the tap dancers returned to Raglan Road? Honestly not sure they were ever gone but I assume so at one point.

I was there in Oct 2020 and the tap dancers were there! Not sure about currently but I would assume they’re still there.

Raglan has had full entertainment since the day they reopened in early June 2020, including dancers. The choreography was heavily modified initially at least to accommodate distancing, and they didn’t do things like ‘lessons’ for the kids for obvious reasons…

I haven’t seen the show in a few months myself so not sure what the current status is.
