Return of E-ride Nights

According to an article from the main page, there will be E-ride Nights again this summer. Under the Extra Magic Hour article, it said this is not replacing E-nights. It said E-ride Nights will be available on select dates in the summer. I hope it's true!

I don't really understand why they would have E-Ride Nights. The evening Extra Magic Hour is also 3 hours, but at all four parks, has more rides open, and is free. Makes E-Ride Nights sound like a rip-off to me...

A rip-off? At Disney? No, not with Eisner! :lookaroun :lol:

I'd be happy to go and pay for E-ride. Since no one else would be there, I'd have the park to myself. Besides, this Extra Magic Hour thing is only in May. I won't be there until July.

E-Ride Nights is limited... and I'm guessing it will have less people then the After Dark hours cause you don't have to pay for the After Dark hours...

And, a little off topic, but, AK is staying open till 8! Yippie!!!!

Could they have e-ride nights during the summer because it IS the summer where they have huge crowds so they want to take advantage and get more money out of the people going during the summer . I don't know how the crowds are during the experimental period in May but should be considerably less than during the summer months. If they decide to keep Extra Magic Hour at night they may want to do it during non-peak periods where it'll be less people taking advantage and their pockets won't be hurt TOO bad.

Just a thought...

There will be some ERide Nights this summer at the MK. This is TOTALLY SEPERATE from the TWO WEEK EXPERIMENT of the nightime Xtra Magic Hour.

The Extyram magic hour MAY be up to 3 hours long. It is NOT Decided on yet.

I think it's a sure bet that the new evening Extra Magic Hours will be successful and be integrated permanently in the near future.

Well I certainly hope this is a success and they extend it to the first week of June when I'm there. Sure I do not expect it, but I can still hope. Imagine walking in the Animal Kingdom WHEN IT IS FREAKIN DARK OUTSIDE! HOORAY :lol:

Disney's reason for extending it from one hour to 3 hours is that they feel the evening Extra Magic Hour will be much more popular than the morning Extra Magic Hour, so this system compensates for that w/ more rides open for longer.

Well, thanks for the reply. Man I wish we had magic hour. Oops I mean magic 3hour, thats crazy three hours. I remember what I could do in one hour, now three....

I hope they are still available. Sure, you have to pay, but they limit the number of people in the park, so there are no lines. I like the new plan, but I also think it will be pretty crowded.
