Restricted Rehire Status

Question about Restricted Rehire Status.. Please help

I worked with the Disney company from Jan 05- Sep 08 when i was fired. I currently have a restricted rehire status and i wondering if anyone out there has got rehired with Disney? I was fired for misusing my maingate pass one time. My area manager has instructed me to use him as a reference and let me know if they call him he will tell them to rehire me.
Im so nervous to go apply, but i miss working there sooo much!

Yeah I hear its bad out there, but they are hiring right now. Lucky for me i currently have a full-time job but just miss working for the Mouse

They were on a hiring freeze because of PI closing, but i heard that within the last week they have started to open stuff up. At the same time, can't believe everything u hear, but im hopeful. I recently spied Disney on CareerBuilder... a girl can dream.. can't she?

This was in the Orlando Sentinel today. I think they are in a hire freeze right now. But who knows.

I'm not too familiar with restricted rehires but I would contact your area manager and speak to him/her. There has been a wave of management layoffs and you need to know that your key reference is still around. Also, they might have advice on your situation. With or without a restricted status, it seems to be almost impossible to get hired right now unfortunately.:shrug:
