resting

Pumbas Nakasak

Heading for the great escape.
resting????? tantamount to desertion. A man stands behind his shadow, a man stands behind his words. These men are together with family to defend their rights in another man's world.

I have 3 kids, so at MK I like to go to Tom Sayers Island where they can run round, and I can find a nice rocking chair on one of the raft docks looking towards BTM. I have only been in October mind, so the temp is better than the summer months and the park is less crowded anyway.

World Showcase is good for people watching but, I like to park myself outside of Stitches Great Escape in MK. It was much much better when it was Alien Encounter but, I love to see kids coming out of there completely losing it. When it was AC, you'd see mom and dad coming out of there losing it too! Ahh, the good ol' days!!:D

Epcot- Behind Rose and Crown there are a few benches by the lake.
On the other side of the lake, the cantina in Mexico, same thing, but
with a refreshing margarita.

MK- Round tables near Casey's, especially when he's playing the piano.
I hear Tom Sawyer's Island has nice rest spots, but I haven't
been there for YEARS!

DHS- Backlot area, near where Honey I Shrunk the Kids play set.
Near the exit of ToT- really pretty back there.

AK- Just about anywhere, the shows provide respite for achin' piggies:)

My mom needs to rest as well so I'll share our favorite spots even though you have plenty of great suggestions already :)

MK: TTA, as many have mentioned, is our fave. If you want to completely refuel yourselves, follow it with CoP. You'll feel so rested and cooled off.. it's great! We also like to hop on the train because it's incredibly relaxing.

Epcot: Again, if you want a long rest: UoE. I'm ashamed to say that on my last visit, I even took a nap in there haha. It's so nice to sit inside, be mildly entertained, and relax for awhile. However, your bum might hurt after awhile :lookaroun Also, as mentioned, lots of great spots in the World Showcase. I love the gardens in the back of the UK pavilion. You almost forget you're at a crowded park back there! Also, it's quite nice to take the boat shuttle across the lagoon.

DS: GMR is like UoE. Nice, long, relaxing break... assuming you don't mind some aliens bothering your chill time. A fave spot of mine in Studios between RnR and ToT. It's a lot of fun to watch people on Tower while seeing the expressions of guests fresh off of RnR.

AK: This park has a lot of shade so we kind of just find a bench and sit. There's a nice resting area behind Dino, as someone mentioned. It's also fun to sit near EE to watch and listen to people buzzing about it.

I suppose I should get back to focusing on finals. Bleck. Have fun!
