Hi,

We're in the process of planning our honeymoon for next year and would love some feedback on some of the restaurants we have chosen to dine at:

Breakfast:
Crystal Palace
Bomba
In-room dining at AKL

Lunch:
50's Cafe
Brown Derby
Le Cellier
San Angel
Sanaa
Cinderella's Royal Table
Restaurant Marrakesh

Dinner:
Victoria & Alberts
Jiko
California Grill
Flying Fish Cafe
Artist Point
Yachtsman Steakhouse

- Are there any spots we've missed that are definite must-dos?

If you have any feedback (good/bad/indifferent) we'd appreciate it.

Thanks!

Well for lunch, both Cinderella's and 50's are very filling. Also for you dinner Jiko is very good and so is California Grill, very very good. When you make ADR's make sure you ask for fireworks time for California Grill. For Sanaa it is very exotic and new unless you eat a lot of African and Boma is also very filling. If you want to add one more I would much recommend either Kona Cafe which is superb or Ohana which is also very good. A fun one is also Garden Grill in Epcot! Characters come and you eat on a platform that very very slowly turns. The food there is almost all grown at the Land which you are right near, so everything is very natural and delicious.

Breakfast:
Crystal Palace - Very good
Boma - Excellent!
In-room dining at AKL - never tried it.

Lunch:
50's Cafe - Good, better depending on your server and how well they play the role.
Brown Derby - Very good
Le Cellier - A personal favourite
San Angel - Never cared for it, too dark to see your food and food was not impressive.
Sanaa - never tried it.
Cinderella's Royal Table - Very good food, I enjoyed the character interaction. Not sure it's worth the $$ though.
Restaurant Marrakesh - An under-appreciated gem, I've always liked it.

Dinner:
Victoria & Albert's - never been, but I've heard good things
Jiko - Quite good.
California Grill - Excellent
Flying Fish Café - Good food - very noisy restaurant
Artist Point - Excellent - another favourite
Yachtsman Steakhouse - never been but heard good things

Hope that helps.

Crystal Palace - Good food we love Pooh & Co.
Bomba - We have not had breakfast there only dinner but it was very good
In-room dining at AKL - Have not stayed at AKL (yet)

Lunch:
50's Cafe - We enjoyed it, as someone else said the server can really add to the experience
Brown Derby - We have had lunch here twice, each time very good
Le Cellier - Excellent
San Angel - We had lunch here once it was okay, again as someone said dark inside
Sanaa - Never tried it
Cinderella's Royal Table -
Unfortunately I have a boy who never wanted any of that princess junk so we never got there.
Restaurant Marrakesh - We ate here twice, very good, son, now a teen, loves the floor show

Dinner:
Victoria & Alberts - Outstanding we ate there on our honeymoon and DW wants to go back next trip.
Jiko - Excellent
California Grill - Excellent watch Wishes from the roof
Flying Fish Café - Excellent but as stated noisy
Artist Point - We did not enjoy it but may just have been an off night
Yachtsman Steakhouse - Outstanding DW’s favorite

I think your dining choices are great, especially your dinnerchoices. I hope you are eating late otherwise you may still be full from Lunch. On our trips we have had excellent breakfasts at Kona Café, Grand Floridian Café and Whispering Canyon, also you only have one character meal booked. Don’t you want to see Mickey? You might want to add Chef Mickey’s for breakfast, just a thought.

Let you severs know it’s your honeymoon you may receive some extra magic.

Have a wonderful time.

Breakfast:
Crystal Palace~we do it every trip, my hubby's favorite buffet
Bomba
In-room dining at AKL

Lunch:
50's Cafe~never been, have family that wasn't impressed
Brown Derby~fancier, had an awesome appetizer there, short ribs I think
Le Cellier~heard and read rave reviews, will finally try it in October
San Angel~read pretty bad reviews and decided to try Le Cellier our next trip instead
Sanaa~am considering switching from Jiko to this, CM really talked it up when I called the other day
Cinderella's Royal Table~have done dinner, definitely good but pricey, we're doing the breakfast in October
Restaurant Marrakesh

Dinner:
Victoria & Alberts~it'll be quite a few more years before we can try this one, our kiddos are too young
Jiko~LOVE IT, our all around favorite meal last trip
California Grill~Awesome, one of the best places to be....SUSHI is fab
Flying Fish Cafe~it is noisy but one of my favorite entrees was had here, seared scallops over risotto...delish....along w/the best crab cake I've ever had in my life
Artist Point~a lot of my family loves this one, I haven't done it yet
Yachtsman Steakhouse~trying this in October as well, based on rave reviews I've gotten

Good Luck and have a great trip, you've got some great picks up here. The only one I might throw in is Narcoosee's...we're trying that one in October too, CM on my last call said it's the prettiest food in Disney. Also known as one of the best for seafood.

Hi,

We're in the process of planning our honeymoon for next year and would love some feedback on some of the restaurants we have chosen to dine at:

Breakfast:
Crystal Palace---had dinner here in 2006 and was unimpressed
Bomba---tried this in 2008 for dinner not impressed.
In-room dining at AKL---probably try this this year on our honeymoon at AKL

If your looking for a great breakfast buffet try Cape May Cafe or Ohana!

Lunch:
50's Cafe---food is great, we dine here for dinner or lunch, Ask for Loukili he is awesome
Brown Derby---had a great dinner here last year and the look and feel of the place screams old time hollywood
Le Cellier ---ate here in 2006 for lunch, I thought it was good but my gf wasnt impressed, havent been back since, love the atmosphere though
San Angel----Atmosphere is awesome, we usually go every trip and have been the past 4 years, they always change the menu, didnt like the offerings this time so we are trying a new place
Sanaa---havent been
Cinderella's Royal Table---went to this in 2007 and had a great time, food was good
Restaurant Marrakesh---:hurl:

Dinner:
Victoria & Alberts---havent made it yet
Jiko---havent made it yet, was going to try in 2010 but ran out of days
California Grill---going for the first time in 2010
Flying Fish Cafe---havent tried
Artist Point-----not a fan of this place
Yachtsman Steakhouse---going for the first time in 2010

I think you should try The Wave over at the Contempory, relatively new place but one of our favs and a must do

Restaurant Marrakesh - Give it a try, I don't like it but some of my family does.

Dinner:

Chef Mickey's (thanks zurgandfriend)
1900
Narcoosee's (thanks bmarkelon)

Thanks for the Garden Grill suggestion. Sounds like a great place, but those motion rooms make me sick (tried one in San Fran and :hurl:)
