Resorts with the best Shop!

Good Morning All.Staying on the shopping theme today.Which resort has the best shop for all your needs.I must admit I love "Fultons" at PORS. It's got everything from food to clothes to wine & beer to kitchen ware stuff.I wasn't impressed with AKL tho,thought it was very small for a deluxe resort.So where is your favourite resort shop?;)

Surfs up eh! When we were at Contempory this year for our CG ADR we did visit a shop where we bought gold keys with Mickey shaped ears that says DVC members.I wish.:)

We are not rabid shoppers when at Disney (shivers down spines in marketing department) but one shop I thought was underwhelming at a resort was the shop at WL. It just seemed kind of small for a deluxe resort shop and did not have much that appealed to us. Granted our visit there was back in ought six and things may have changed since then.

Oh Hatter....if you think the AKL store is small, wait until you stay at the WL. It is even smaller. It has some very nice resort specific merchandise but not the kind of shop you can visit multiple times without feeling like you've been there, done that.

PORS has a very large store and is one of my favorites. We visited AoA this past September and LOVED their shopping area. It reminded me of the World of Disney Downtown. I also love the stores in the POLY. A little expensive but fun to look at and see some different merchandise.

Fulton's at PORS is my fave

We did some shopping in the Contemporary last year and I was impressed with their selection.

This year we made a quick stop at AoA and although we didn't stay long they had a pretty sweet looking (and huge) shop there.

The shop at CBR was ehhh...nothing special but I will say the manager there over heard me complaining about you can never find any resort specific merchandise anymore...she ran over and said..."trust me we're TRYING"
so if nothing else at least the CMs are aware and are making some noise.

I was going to say AKL Jambo since it has such a variety of differant items. I also like the Contemporary with the 3 seperate shops basically next to each other.

If I were listing small shops in deluxe resorts I would go with Beach Club and Wilderness. Both are underwhelming for being in deluxe resorts. I also should add some pathetic shops like AKL Kidani and Saratoga Springs. Very very limited

My personal favorites are

Boutiki (Poly) - Tends to have a small selection of resort specific merchandise oh and I like the tiki men and the name lol.

Everything Pop (POP) - Fun atmosphere and sometimes sells things I havn't seen in other stores kind of a mix of Once Upon a Toy in DTD mix with a resort shop.

Johari Treasures (AKL) - Good selection of sundries but even better selection of gifts some only found in this store
kind of like a Pier 1 with and Animal Kingdom theme.

Panchito's (CSR) One of the best resort stores on property, it has a large selection of gifts, sundires, wine, and other items you may need back at the room or fro your trip plus has a great selection of resort specific merchandise.

Screendoor General Store (BWR) - Small selection of sundries but huge selection of wine and some spirits plus resort specific merchandise and a few items I have not seen elsewhere on property
