Resorts Towel Pool Rules!

Morning to you all. Can anyone jog my memory about taking towels from your resort pool to the water parks? Is it the rule that you can take a towel from the main resort pool area and before you leave,for example,Typhoon Lagoon,you pop the towel into the collection bin. Got to get these question correct before my Disney party.

My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that the Value and Mod resorts do not have pool towels. You use your room towels at the pool. I think the Deluxe resorts have pool towels. I an not sure about taking room towels to the water parks. Since they rent them, I think it is frowned upon, but no way to stop it.

Can't speak for value,but PORS for definate has towels at main pool.Your right about room towels,not supposed to take them to water parks.Ive actually seen guests getting on the bus at riverside with resort pool towels heading for water parks.

LOL.. We do take our own towels,bright coloured ones,to the water parks.If there's a family of five going to Disney from UK,Thats a lot of space used up in your suitcase.

Last summer, we thought we were being sneaky by taking resort pool towels and hiding them in our beach bag. Then a very large group gets on the bus and each person is carrying about 5 towels in plain sight! The water park towels and the pool towels look exactly the same, so I don't see it as a problem. Take the resort pool towels and return them at the water park! It's not like you're taking them home with you.

I've always taken my resort pool towels to the WPs, never thought it was an issue. They're the same towels and I either return them to the towel drop-off bins in the WPs or I take them back to the resort and drop them in the towel bins at our resort pool. Now I've never taken the resort towels, only the pool towels as they are the exact same.

Moderates all have towels at their main pools, btw...the do not have towels at the smaller quiet pools.

You do not bring resort towels to the WPs...you use the towels there...or bring your own standard sized beach towels from home...

This is an interesting topic, I would think you could just use the towels that the park provides. Why bring your own and carry it around?

We actually asked a CM about this before. They told us we could take the pool towels and leave them at Typhoon. Now did they have the authority to grant us such a perk.... I am not sure... But we have done it for the last 3 years. Often we just bring them back to the pool we got them from

Dont waste rhe suitcase space with towels. If the pool towels are the same as the ones they rent out then these are all being washed at the same place at the end of the day and redistributed from a central place. No harm done.
