During a visit? Nope. I mean, as of now, my favorite resort is Pop Century and on that trip, I didn't even think about ever switching. Staying for the first time and getting to let the atmosphere sink in was more important. (My dream resort stays are put on hold at the moment because of finances.) I feel that switching resorts during a trip is really unnecessary in most cases because if you think about it, you've spent a great deal of planning months in advance, done your research, assessed your potential choices and picked the one hotel that best fits your needs and your budget. You should at least give it a chance staying there for one whole trip. I mean, if problems ensue in the room, ask to be moved. If you're not satisfied with the food, eat elsewhere. Now there maybe some extreme cases but I mean, I would think that people don't switch hotels that easily because it's too much to deal with. (Packing again, moving, unpacking, checking out and checking in again, learning the logistics of the hotel like where everything is, etc.) If you're left unsatisfied with everything when all is said and done, there's a silver lining like everyone has said about experiencing something now but also, now you've learned that the previous choice was not a hotel that provides the best fit and you'll definitely pick something different for the future.
