Resort Room Payments???

I was just wondering if you had to have your entire bill for your stay at one of the Walt Disney Resorts FULLY paid when you got down there? I've already made the deposit, but the stuff they sent us was kinda confusing, to make future payments I mean. It said to send paymetns in enclosed envelope, but no envelope. Oh well I know its just my lack of common sense, but do you have to be FULLY paid up in order to check in? Thanks!

It depends on whether you are going through the Disney Club or Central Reservations. DC requires you to be paid in full by a certain time before your check-in date. CR only asks for a 1 night deposit in advance and the balance is due at check-in. Hope this helps.

Are you talking about the yellow sheet from Disney reservations? Disney sends a yellow sheet out with your reservations, then when they receive payment they send you another yellow sheet that looks identical to the first one. I thought I had to pay more too but I called reservations and they said I was fine. If you're not sure you can call reservations and they can tell you whether you owe money or not.

If you went through the Disney Travel Company then payment will be due in full prior to arrival. If you went through Central Reservations then only a deposit is required. To tell which one you actually went through just look at your reservation slip. If it's yellow you went through Central Reservations.

I have a yellow slip, yet my remaining balance is due 2 weeks before arrival. I have a AAA discount, so don't know if that makes a difference? I went through CRO. Could it be time related? I made the reservation quite a while (December) ago! I know the last time I went, I paid the balance when checking out. I made that reservation at the last minute.

It really sounds like you have reservations through the Disney Club. I always get a yellow confirmation receipt, whether it's CRO or DC. I always liked paying in advance because it's one less thing to worry about when you get there. Remember to take your yellow slip with you when you check in...it might save you some time and grief.

I get the yellow sheet.......

Pay the 1 nite deposit and pay the rest upon arrival.

I made my reservations online this time, paid 1 night deposit and I'm guessing I get a yellow sheet when the 45 day cancellation time is up.

I would DEFINITELY call up and find out. I know that I have made reservations for room only and for that they only need then one night downpayment, but I am not so sure about packages. PLEASE call & double check!! Have a great time!!

THANKS to everyone who replied. I feel much better now about my payments and yes I went through Central Reservations. Oh, and I will be paying the balance due when we check-in. Thanks again!
