Resort Pens

this is just a strange oppinion of mine but dont you think that with disney being the largest vacation destination in the world they could have better pens in their hotel rooms. all they say is walt disney resorts in gold letters on the side. i just think they could be nicer especially taking into account the price of the rooms. ok im done ranting now...

Have you tried those pens? They are the best! The ink never gets dry and it´s always very black or very blue! I have a few, and after 4 years, they still work!

Disney Cruise Line had the red ones with blue letters, not sure if they have changed them already but they were as good as the other ones.

I don´t think they need to make different pens for every hotel they own. It´s a lot simpler to have the same pen for all the hotels and for the parks too. I would like to know some numbers though, like how many pens they order and how often. Just imagine the amount! :eek:

The good ole BIC! If we pay only a nickle for them imagine the volume discount Disney gets for buying them in boxes of 500. I used to give them away like candy. I tried to never use the same one twice.

Those pens are great. I used them to fill out my College Apps and I got accepted everywhere I tried!! Now I use them for homework and other business, and ome are over 6 years old. It's great.

i kno i love the way it writes but i just thought that the design was a little bland compaired to the dcl pen and pens from other hotels i have stayed at

Halarious thread! I focus on thease damn pens while I'm there!

I have a pile of them from my August/September vacation! I take them right off the counter in front of every CM I encounter, and none of them say a word! I guess I could probably just ask, but that would be wierd. The awkward silence is much better.:lol:

I hit the jackpot last trip when there was a rollerbanded wad of them in the hallway at our Resort. It was later in the evening, when all beds would have been made, so I kept them. It was great.

Yeah, out of all the things in the hotel room to filch, the pen is probably the most desirable. I to have a small collection and I notice that if someone is going to borrow a pen and not give it back, it'll be a resort pen. Consider it stealing? No, at the price I pay, they should give me a box of them.

If you dont like the pens and you think your room price is to high then stay somewhere else.As you can tell most of us love the pens,and I love the soap boxes even more and the turn down service mints.Enjoy your pen:)

No intelligent hotel management staff is going to spend a lot of money for something they know will be taken by the guests. If you want to have an expensive pen that says WDW on it, I'll bet there are plenty of place where you can get them.

If all you've got to worry about in your life is what kind of PENS Disney puts in their Resort rooms, you're doing pretty good. :lol:

Quit whining..enjoy your vacation..and the REST of you people...Psssssst..Maria..I'm talking to YOU too...
