Resort Mugs

When will the resort specific mugs come back? I like the Year of a Million Dreams mugs, but I would like to get a resort specific mug. Any clue on if they will be back at all?

I have no idea. But since YOMD is supposed to end before too long, they will have to make new mugs to reflect the fact that it is no longer YOMD. Hopefully, when they do, the mugs will be resort specific again, but I'm not holding my breath on that.

YOMD Mugs

Hello, Since 2008 is also the YOMD, does this mean that you can reuse your 2007 resort mugs to get refills? Wink.. By having the YOMD again in 2008, I think it's Disney's gift to all of us who visited in 2007, kinda like a green$ recycling program. MikeB

To answer your question...I don't know. I would think that once the YoaMD is over the mugs will be no good.

Unless the mug designs have changed since I was there in February, there is no reason they couldn't keep the same mugs next year. While the "official" public policy is that the mugs can only be used at the resort you are staying for the duration of the trip during which you purchased it. However, the actual policy that Disney enforces is that anyone with a mug, no matter when purchased, can use the mug.
