Resort hotel question?

We are staying off site for the first time but would like to have breakfast at Cape May at the Beach Club. Will we be able to do this? I've only gone to the resorts as a resort guest so obviously had no trouble with the guard. Will we be allowed to enter??

Plan away! Disney encourages people to visit and use their restaurants and many locals stop by just for that. You will need to stop and the gurad and tell them your name, they will make sure you are on the list of ADRs for the morning and direct you to a lot to park.

I'm not sure the wife made an ADR. We were plannng on waiting if we had to. Does one need an ADR?

I have never been to a WDW restaurant w/out an ADR before so I'm not sure what the average wait time would be w/out one. Personally, I would highly recommend trying to get one. Especially with a character meal. You can book them 180 days in advance just call 407-WDW-DINE.
