You can blame the death of Magical Express. Parking is more of a premium. Terrible. Disney is backwards when thinking of environmental efficiency.Yes
Rejected at: Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, and Coronado Springs
Got in: Port Orleans
a little surprised about Wilderness Lodge, never had a problem there.Yes

What did you say to the guard about what you were doing there or would like to do at the resort?Tried resort hopping yesterday, was rejected at 3 out of the 4 resorts we tried to get into.
You can take a bus to DHS and the Skyliner to Epcot to access the Boardwalk, too. With some creativity you can usually get pretty close to where you want to go using Disney Transportation. I count anything but the bus an attraction so if I want to go from Coronado Springs to Boardwalk I’d just take the bus to Studios and walk or take the boat from there (the new bus stop is halfway to boardwalk anyways....)
It can be a fun game, if you’re into that sort of thing. I also ride airport peoplemovers for fun so I might not be the best person to listen to
You can. The walk from the Epcot skyliner is about the same distance as the walk from the DHS bus loop. You can take a bus to DHS and the Skyliner to Epcot to access the Boardwalk, too.

Hasn't this always been the rule?I told them we were there to eat at the quick service and all three said the same thing "sorry only people with reservations are allowed in".
Hasn't this always been the rule?
Not with parking, maybe some of the moderates, but not the PolyNo. Started with the reopening after the pandemic. I've been going to the resorts to hang out for 20 years before this.
Not since the early 90's, about the time they got away from requiring resort ID's to ride Disney World transportation.Hasn't this always been the rule?
