Royal room at POR, or 1 bedroom Villa at Saratoga Springs? 3 adults and 1 5 year old for November 9-16.
Any help is appreciated!

If I were you, I'd spring for the villa. It would give the adults a bit more room with extra sleep space and of course the kitchen is always nice, especially with a little one. I'm pretty sure you'd be doubling square footage. Enjoy!

Another vote for the villa. I just did a split stay: 3 adults, 1 4-year-old. We went from a regular room at YC to a 1br villa at BLT. The YC room was...livable, but between us and all our stuff (including a stroller) we were pretty squashed. It was much nicer and calmer to spread out in the villa (and have a separate room that the nappers could nap in undisturbed).

And the washer/dryer/refrigerator you'll have in a villa are invaluable, especially with a little one. Happy planning!! :)

Thank you all so much! Villa is looking better and better! Im originally from Louisiana, so I do love that NO feel, but am thinking the separate room and kitchen might be a winner. Since we are flying in, wont be able to bring too many food items, so, is there any place fairly close by to buy food. A grocery store not too far from SS?
Also, are the one bedroom villas located in the same building areas? Ideally, I would like to be near a good pool, some type of play for the dgd, and close to transportation. For about two weeks Ive been researching POR, so the suggestion for SS has thrown me for a loop! Thank you to everyone for your help! Dot

The resort will have a store to buy items, but you can also pre order and have groceries delivered to your room on ur check in day from several different companies. Most people tend to use garden grocer...

Garden Grocer is very popular for pre-ordering your groceries and having them delivered to the resort. Lots of guests staying on or off property do this. It is very convenient!

Sounds like the villa gets the edge for space and laundry facilities- I suppose for me it would come down to whether I feel like preparing any meals on the trip. If not, a standard resort would work fine.

I do like the idea of having a microwave and oven for things my dgd will eat. She loves fish sticks! I did a sample order from the grocer, and its very reasonable since we are flying. We will have the dining package so not sure exactly how that works yet, so Im not sure just how much food to order. Im trying to base it on what we would normally use at home in a week. Im usually not one to cook or do laundry on vacation, but it might come in handy!! Dot

If u have the dining plan already, I would suggest just really maybe ordering breakfast items and snacks...

Thanks for the suggestion! The Disney plus dining plan comes with the room. I have read about combing tickets for a better meal?? Not sure what Im talking about! I figure mom and dad will be out at Disney a lot more than Lilly and I. So maybe I will revise my shopping cart!! LOL

Is it best to get Garden Grocer to deliever after you arrive on site? Would ideally like to order milk etc but worried in the Florida heat it would go off quickly? Thanks

Your resort will refrigerate or freeze whatever foods need it upon delivery. You can arrange for delivery the day you arrive, and your resort will properly stock the foods.

Thank you. I did find a resort order form online, is it better to use them direct? We are staying at SSR, it says you need to fax the form in but we dont have access to a fax and coming from UK.
