Requesting building and/or room at the Polynesian

I am checking in this Halloween. When can I contact the hotel and specify a certain building or room? I would like to be in Samoa next to the volcano pool preferably 1st or 3rd floor, middle of longhouse, and facing pool. Thanks or, what are some ppl's fav longhouses excluding the concierge buildings which exceed my budget?

We stayed in Tokelau the first week of this month when we went for my hubby's birthday, and it was a great location. Pam at KK made our reservations (in late Jan. or early Feb., I think) and requested that longhouse at that time. I did the on-line check-in, and when we checked in at the desk we were already assigned to Tokelau. We were very happy with the location...conveniently located to the GCH, the laundry facilities, the smaller pool, and for a quick walk to the TTC. We could see the beach from our 2nd floor balcony, and watch the water pageant, even though we didn't pay for a water view. It was a great room and we had a wonderful time. Enjoy your trip!

When I want a specific building/room, I fax the Room Assigner 5 days before my check in date with the specifics I want. I usually get what I request when I follow this procedure. Just remember to put your reservation number on the fax. Hope this helps and have a magical time!!!

A while back Disney requested that this no longer be done. The best way to make and get your request is to call the reservation center and have them add it to the reservation. There is no need to contact the resort directly ahead of time, just remind them when you check in.

The Tahiti is my favorite because it is close to the TTC. It also has good lagoon and garden views. If you like a quick morning swim it is close to the quiet pool.I have never had a problem in requesting this longhouse.

We got Tahiti no problem.
