I just looked at my rep points. One of the blocks is now grey, not green...what's that mean?...

That means that someone like me (low value reputation) gave you a rep point! However, it's not a rep point at all because those of us in low status have no point power!

It will include a comment if the member wrote one, but often people just click wheter they approve or not and don't give a comment.

Newbies will also have a low value reputation. Woody's is just extra super low.
