Suggest a bit of on-line research for this - I think that you will be hit with some quite hefty supplementsilPapa said:I would like to maybe rent a car for a few days when I am in orlando, only problem I can think of is that I am 18 years old, I take it there would be an extra charge?

mkt said:I just did the math for you as well. 1 day, after all costs figured in (insurance, taxes, and surcharges... not counting fuel however), it will be about $53/day for the Daewoo (in the UK the Lanos is known as the Kalos). Not too bad, but definitely expensive.

to be honest, I don't think I will be renting the daewoo!
I doubt the companies UK tour operators deal with will allow you to rent, so you will have to go with the company MKT listed earlier in the thread. As long as you pay the supplements they will rent to you.ilPapa said:do you think they will have any qualms about my age?
mkt said:most UK tour operators use the larger US companies, so Barnum is dead on with his reply. I remember when my car was hit from behind and I was 19, I had to go through a local company called Able rent a car. They gave me an SUV. If they're still in business, I'd check them out... they were pretty good.
