Disney resort guests park for free.

Q: Is parking available at the Theme Parks?

A: Yes, parking is available at the Disney Theme Parks for an additional fee. Once the parking fee is paid, this will allow you to park at all the Disney Theme Parks for that entire day. Disney Resort Guests receive complimentary parking at the Disney Theme Parks for the length of their resort stay, with valid resort identification.

I dont know where your renting from but we got a compact car from budget during labor day week for 10 days...all for 150 after taxes. And you can pick it up at the airport! Also if you arent staying on property i believe its 12 bucks a day. But the resort gives you a piece of paper to put on your dash the entire length of your stay so nobody bothers you for money.

So I would recommend either parking your rental car at downtown disney and catching a bus, or parking at ft. wilderness lodge and doing the same. At 12 bucks a pop you'll save over 80 bucks the trip and only lose a few minutes a day...but if your staying till the park closes..by all means park in the parking lot or you'll wait forever!

If you want an even cheaper car then try this link

you can get cars for under 80 bucks a week including tax!

P.S. sorry to hear about that whole jersey situation! i live 5 hours from there and i can smell it from here!

As you are staying on property, your parking at the theme parks is free. The comment made regarding parking at Downtown Disney is a bit of a point of contention. As it is the bus service from Downtown Disney only goes to the resorts where you would have to wait for a 2nd bus to a park. This was to stop people who dont want to pay the parking fee ($12.00 a day if staying offsite) as parking at DTD is free for shopping, restaurants etc. Some chose to abuse this to try to save a few bucks and changes were made to try to stop it. Not an issue for you at all!!! Have a good time! Belle

Yep. It is a little bizarre to me to waste anywhere from at least one hour to maybe two depending on the bus connections to do it to save $12.00 but from my understanding, yes it is done!!! Amazing huh? Belle

Staying on property, parking is FREE

As stated in other comments, if you are staying on Disney property, a rectangle paper with you visits dates is given to you. You keep this paper on your car dash, this helps you get back onto property when returning to you Disney hotel PLUS free parking at any Disney Theme park. Yes, parking at the park is now $12.00 a day without the Disney hotel dash ID. Have a blast and enjoy. Disney stopped sending DTD buses directly to the parks about 2-3 years ago. Buses from DTD now go hotels first and then you must change buses for a theme park:sohappy:
