What a bummer to have rain on Christmas Eve. :(

Enjoy your trip anyways!
Oh man, it's been raining for the past 2-3 days.
Rained periodically on Sunday when I was at HS. Rain periodically again yesterday at AK.
So far today it's just been misty, which is fine imo. Just no downpour pls!!

But we've been having a fun time so far. I would imagine less people would show up with all this rain, but it's all good. Got to ride every ride/attraction so far the last two days.

Some pictures from the Skyliner this morning.
Side note, surprised they have people working on Christmas Eve..

To wrap up, it's nice finally seeing this project/expansion in person after following it online for years and months. Looks very promising and nice!!
It's only supposed to rain in the UK Pavilion. I'm really sick of Epcot's sightline issues.

A friend of mine was told today that this version will be getting an extra scene, albeit not a very large one.

Is there any truth to this, or is it definitely a 1:1 copy?

It’s possible, because the Paris original passes by an actual Gusteau’s restaurant at the end, which won’t exist in Florida.

I wouldn’t call it an extra scene, because passing by the restaurant is a pretty authentic scene in and of itself, and likely won’t be topped. But I see what your friend means. If the layout is the same, they’ll need to fill the space somehow, and so perhaps they’ll animate something neat.

The restaurant in Paris is along the back wall of unload and would be where the plaza is being built. In Orlando you’ll simply exit through where it should be to the outside.

Is there signage inside the park advertising this as coming soon? Would regular guests inside the park even know a ride is being built?
