I rode Rat at DLP and it was pretty good. You really get a sense of being très petite (get it) in the kitchen. The ride overall is similar to all of the Uni rides with a car that goes from screen to screen. I noticed the seam and floor, but it's not a big deal once the ride starts throwing you around.

It’s a very nice lobby. I don’t believe anywhere said it’s grand. Or did you expect an atrium?View attachment 383946

We’ve our third stay coming at this resort next year.
Looks like a Disney resort to me...it's not wide open like Wilderness Lodge, but neither are the lobbies at Yacht and Beach, Boardwalk, Kidani, or I imagine Saratoga and Old Key West (never been to either).

It is nice, yes, yes - I just didn't want @MansionButler84 to expect:

Sequoia is a hotel 'themed' to a national park, the same way a prom might have a theme, or a subject matter. But the WDW lodge is themed - like, you could believe you are there in Yellowstone or Yosemite.

I do concur, Sequoia is probably is the best place for your money among all the DLP resort hotels.

Ironically, it looks like Reflections—A Disney Lakeside Lodge lol.

I'm glad my description of it as "a heavily budget cut Wilderness Lodge with some random wood and rock theming stuck in places" to my parents is holding up (I know they're leagues apart). This was my choice prior to this converstaion when I make my trip. Looks nice enough and doesn't obliterate the bank. Definitely glad everyone likes it and can't wait to see it in person.

So how about that Rat ride? Some minor updates:
