(I specifically stated Pixar since Disney has done Brother Bear and Chicken Little, which hardly count as movies)

While I in no way think these two films belong in the pantheon of Disney "Classics", I do think they were good films that were highly underrated. Sorry, I had to get that off of my chest.

As far as Ratatouille goes...I can't wait! I looove Pixar but I was a little disappointed with Cars although I really enjoyed it. Pixar has a proven track record of quality and Ratatouille looks like it will continue that record. My only concern is that with Transformers opening the week after Ratatouille it could really hurt it at the box office potentially making it the lowest grossing Pixar film so far. I hope I'm wrong though. As far as character appearances go I think France at World Showcase would be the perfect place to debut them.

We got to see Meet the Robinsons in 3D at Downtown Disney back in April and one of the trailers was for Nightmare Before Christmas 3D in October. Wasn't Nightmare 3D released to theaters last year? Was that an old trailer
or are they showing it again this year? I ask because we will be there in late September/early October and we would love to see it if it's playing. Anyone have any info?

Do you have pictures, or was this a CM only type thing? Anyway, it looks like he should be out soon, but I'm surprised we haven't seen anything yet. We had MTR pictures a couple weeks in advance...

This Meet and Greet is tentatively planned replace the current Meet the Robinsons location.[/FONT]

I'm sure there will be pictures up soon...I think they will do fine with guests. Yesterday there was talk that MTR characters would be going away soon, so I think Remy and Emile will be out in the near future.

Disney is planing on making Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D an annual thing, or until it stops making money.

I don't think Ratatouille will do well at the domestic boxoffice. I just do not see many people getting excited over a movie about a rat in Paris. No offense to the French. Plus the name is going to kill it because no one will know how to pronounce it.

I really think this has the potential to be a character with some staying power. I mean, look at it--he's the only 'big' character in the movie (compared with MTR, Incredibles, and Cars which doesn't count since it is tough to have a car character walking the parks, that all had more ensemble casts), it should be an easy costume to keep faithful to the look of the character in the movie (it's not like they are new to rodent costumes), and he is the first animal Pixar has done in a few years (I specifically stated Pixar since Disney has done Brother Bear and Chicken Little, which hardly count as movies). Maybe I'm just biased after seeing that seven minutes from the film the other week, but I think Remy is going to have staying power!

What is wrong with Chicken Little?

It was of poor quality, an uninteresting story, had forgettable characters, and had a small box office take (compared to Pixar releases). Don't believe me? Here is what the critics said:

If you aren't the type that goes for critics' ratings, thinking they're "out of touch with the everyday movie-goer," here's what everyday movie-goers said:

I'm not alone in my sentiment about Chicken Little.

...and believe me, I want Disney to have another big non-Pixar hit, but that hasn't happened anytime recently...

Sure they have...Meet The Robinsons. It wasn't huge and didn't break any box office records but last time I checked it was approaching a domestic gross of 100 million...not too bad for a non-Pixar release. Even though John Lasseter and his Pixar team helped WDFA on the film it was still marketed as strictly a WDFA film.

Remy and Emile (the chubby rat) will be appearing starting June 16th (subject to change but that's the tentative date). I believe MTR will be moving to Tomorrowland.

And to the dude who would buy a dole whip, I don't like them.... but maybe if you offer something else....I can get a picture up by the end of this weekend  .
