As far as character additions to Epcot, I think this one is a classy and very impressive idea--not shoved down anyone's throats, just a little added magic.

I couldn't agree more! This is the perfect example of an "appropriate" character addition because it's more like just an added little touch. Very cool and very much the type of thing that makes Disney so cool!

My only minor complaint is that it appears from the videos that his motion isn't really very sophisticated and that he isn't as articulate as I think today's technology could make him be. It would be even cooler if it was just a little bit more technologically advanced, but I still love it.

I understand why he can't talk, but I'm such a fan of Patton Oswalt I'd love to see it voiced by him.

I would like that too, but I think it's actually more true to the story by not having him speak.

I saw Remy at Chef de France earlier today -- he was SO cute! He'd always make little movements with his head and body to communicate with you, and the man handling him was very entertaining. Though he didn't stop by our table, he stopped by the ones around us [which seemed sort of mean ], and both mom and I were squealing over how adorable he was.

We asked our waiter when he appeared, and he said early in the day/dinner time, if I recall. Our reservations were around 5:30, and it was 6:30ish when he disappeared for the night, for those interested.
