Remember when The Hulk and Dragons were smooth?

All the work is on USF right now. IOA has potter, and has better attendance. Once potter is done at USF, the focus will shift back to IOA with hopefully a new JP or Seuss ride

I also think that, when the (rumored?) Hogwarts Express attraction is done, it'll totally reform the way people go to Universal, in a good way.

Something is starting for IOA after Transformers, that's for sure, whether it is Seuss or JP is the question though..

Dr. Doom's FearFall... again, what needs to be done here? The queue is fantastic and it is a pretty scary and thrilling ride. I think the only thing they could do to improve this ride is maybe add a new drop profile. After the first blast and fall, the rest of the drops are just bounces.

DDFF needs to be doubled, or even tripled in length!

It went "up-down-up-down-up-down" when we last rode and that was it - it needs to run a lot longer otherwise it's not worth the time to queue for us!

Just got back from Uni last weekend and I thought Hulk was pretty smooth, was in front row for first ride and middle for second. Both DD coasters were pretty smooth too. The coaster that sent me yacking was HRRR. Front row was fine, it was the back row ride that got me. Felt like I was whipped around on that one. From now on, no more last rows for me....

We WAIT for the back row! Love that ride!

I found Hulk to have a few parts of the coaster that were rough but nothing too bad. Dragons was smooth to me.

Heck I remember when Gwazi used to be smooth, opening weekend!

I didn't think Gwazi would be that bad but I was very surprised at how rough the coaster was. Even with the newer trains, the ride was brutal, even the part of the ride before the lift hill. It was so bad that I don't remember the layout much at all since I was focusing on when the ride was going to end. I only rode the Tiger side since the Lion side was under refurbishment at the time but even if both sides had been open, I don't think I would have ridden the Lion side (which is a big deal for me since I almost never pass up a coaster to add it to my coaster count).

The ONLY coaster their that is worn a darn is a woodie :D EL TORO!

And Nitro :)

Hulk all depends on your train, not the coaster itself. They've been redoing the wheels on the trains, and the new ones are smooth.

Dragons isn't rough at all.
I feel like this, along with which row in the train you ride are both a factor. Either they've been redoing the wheels on certain cars, or the placement in the train has an effect. I hate riding in the back because I seem to get knocked around more often than in the first four rows or so.

Indeed. I rode Gwazi during the employee preview (my friend worked in Busch parking). For it's first few years Gwazi was one of the smoothest wood coasters I've ever been on. Feels like a deathtrap nowadays. It is *extremely* rough now.
Is there any way to fix that or, 'is it is what it is'?
The Hollywood coaster is terrible and I'll probably never go again after being thrashed by it.

Hulk has a cool launch...then the ride just stinks. Sorry. It is rough and the painful corkscrews and turns are nothing that I ever want to go through again.

Dueling Dragons is the clear winner as far as coasters go at Universal. It's still a pretty good ride. Both tracks.
It's upsetting that they don't sync up the trains anymore. At least, that's what I've heard, due to safety reasons.
