Mickey demands the best, so there will always be casualties when he is around. Do you ever wonder where the rest of the mice went in his world?

Ever wonder where all the dead Marios go?

Clever.

I was unsure how many Guests would utilize the park spaces for actually sitting down to relax aside from those with younger kids who wanted to play. But Disney found a way to further tie the area into the ride by selling you picnic supplies and a meal. A hybrid purchase between food and a take-home souvenir.

Assuming it proves to be a popular concept, then the new park area that replaced the Roger Rabbit fountain starts to make a little more sense. It's basically been turned into an "additional seating" area.

Side note: I think the newly revealed hot dog and pizza fold overs look pretty good. -and I'm a sucker for mini corn dogs, too.

I actually thought when the grass debuted, they should sell and offer picnics… I guess I have a corporate brain 😂

I'm going to hope that this Tweeter guy actually has a 10th grade grasp of the English language and used the word "infamous" correctly when describing the ugly new AstroTurf, unlike too many people now who think "infamous" is just a bolder way to say "famous".

in·fa·mous adjective
  1. well known for some bad quality or deed.
    "an infamous war criminal"

He's calling it 'infamous' as a jab to all those who wailed to high heaven that it was fake and not real grass.

But you know, some people only have 10th grade grasp of 'context' and 'sarcasm.'

Oh, well that's good then. I'm not familiar with him at all and that Tweet is my only knowledge of him, so you never know these days. Even relatively with-it people have been using "infamous" incorrectly more and more lately, in my experience.

At this point in its short existence, I think it's fair to call that AstroTurf "infamous".

Even if its not quite infamous (yet), it certainly isn't attractive or believable, that's for sure.

Tell me about it, I'm a high school graduate! Sophomores are total dorks.

Oh, boy! More fiberglass character statues! I think I would have preferred something that look like stone--like what would go in a fountain in the center of a town.

Also, I notice that these are not based on the Paul Rudish designs from the Mickey Mouse Shorts.
